Job Summary:

The position is responsible for sales and business development of MikroPul’s FS filter range; The FS series dust collector with horizontally installed flat bag filters is a compact and efficient filter system with intelligent air cleaning technology. This system is ideal for high dust loads of finer dust particles and high gas temperatures.


FS filters are installed in hundreds of applications worldwide, including:

  • Foundries: melting and casting furnaces, magnesium treatment, sand preparation, molding lines, casting and cooling lines, shot blasting, and casting finishing.
  • Steel mills: electric arc furnace, secondary dedusting, flame cutting stations, and flame cutting equipment.
  • Nonferrous metals: aluminum melting furnaces, AlO2 transport and silos, anode fabrication, copper, copper alloys, magnesium, lead and zinc melting furnaces.
  • Asphalt: dry drum, parallel drum, mixers, screens, silos, loading station.
  • Galvanizing plants: galvanizing baths with edge extraction or enclosure.
  • Glass: glass tanks, doghouse, glass fiber production, mineral and glass wool furnaces.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and pipeline development
  • Sales to End customers, OEM and Resellers in America in line with a specific sales volume and margin target.
  • Find, develop and support resellers and OEM in America
  • Hand-over of orders to project execution and corresponding interaction during execution phase
  • Cooperation with head of sales and management to develop a strategy for the segment
  • Cooperation with Marketing for segment specific activities
  • Defining technical concepts for applications
  • Calculation of offers (mainly for Reseller/OEM)
  • >50% travelling

Job Specifications:

Education required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience required:

  • Broad long-term experience in selling systems to the segment
  • Technical background (Engineer)

Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required:

  • Existing relationships and network in the segment
  • Technical and Commercial competence for negotiating systems sales
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • IT user skills
  • An independent, structured and organized way of working
