Job Summary:

The Solutions Sales Manager executes the business strategy to exceed monthly and annual sales goals for Configured Solutions intake in Ontario, Canada.  This person will work with and develop Nederman Dealers, end-users, and industry contacts to identify new opportunities, validate needs, prepare quotations, and close the sale of extraction systems.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Execution
    1. Own sales process from lead to close to maintain a win rate over 35% and meet quarterly quota.
    2. Proactively network and partner with existing Dealers and industry contacts to identify new end-user opportunities.
    3. Work with Technical Team to build solution concepts that drive customer dollarized value and differentiate versus our competition.
    4. Maintain project pipeline, quote log, and lead disposition in CRM.
    5. Ensure compliance with corporate and department policies on risk management.

 

  1. Promote Nederman Brand and Technology
    1. Assist in development of annual marketing and key customer Business Plans.
    2. Participate in annual trade shows nationally and regionally as applicable
    3. Act as the technology expert of our core target markets and how Nederman solutions solve their problems.

 

  1. Play key role in the Configured Solutions Team.
    1. Collaborate with VP of Sales in the creation of our go to market strategy.
    2. Routinely provide reports and feedback to management on sales forecast, activity levels and competitive landscape within the targeted industries.
    3. Participate in weekly 15 minute 4DX Scoreboard Meeting to ensure team is on plan to Goal.
    4. Partner with Project Management teams to cleanly handoff orders with all necessary documentation to ensure project execution and profitability.

 

 

Qualifications
Your Experience & Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience selling technical solutions.
  • Experience selling capital equipment in Wood, Weld, HVAC, or other engineered product markets preferred.
  • Experience selling premium priced product required.

 

Your Skills & Traits:

  • Proven presentation, selling, and closing skills.
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on rapid responses.
  • Team player who manages conflict resolution through consistent communication.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Quote Tools, and CRM.
  • Expert in the sales process of capital equipment and technical solutions.
  • Willing to learn new technology and accept personal responsibility for own development and performance.
  • General knowledge of legal requirements for business contracts.
  • Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to travel domestically: 50% to 70% of Working Days
